The Heat Only Lose Without Kyle Lowry

The Heat have only lost two games this season; and both losses have something in common: no Kyle Lowry. The first loss came on Oct. 23, where Lowry sat out with a sprained ankle. The second loss came on Thursday, where Lowry started the game, but hobbled off the floor after the third quarter. Just before his exit, Lowry’s teammate Duncan Robinson fell into him after attempting to take a charge. Initially, it looked like Lowry’s injury was more serious this time around, considering the collision and the hobbling, but there is optimism that Lowry could return today. Coach Erik Spoltra said “I know him well enough that he’s very similar to Jimmy [Butler]. You ask him how he’s doing, he’s like, ‘fine.’ But we’ll have to see how it responds.”
