Not the Achilles, but Certainly a Heel – Robinson Misses Second Straight Practice

Robinson injured his heel in the Jaguars 31-7 loss to the Seattle Seahawks last week. As a result, he was sidelined after only 4 rushing attempts. What seemed like a straightforward injury has grown to be more complicated in recent days as Robinson was a non-participant in Wednesday and Thursday practice this week. The good news is that we have calculated his Injury Risk to be Low (12%) and his Health Performance Factor to be Below Average (60%). We do, however, expect it to take about a week for Robinson to reach his Optimal Recovery Time. With that being said, Jaguars offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell added today: “James is a loss and we want him in there. I do not think it is a final decision yet, you know we are still going to take it until the end of the week, but it is next man up mentality and we are going to go with those guys.”
