Manchester United have defensive issues ahead of their Premier League derby clash with Manchester City at Old Trafford.
Raphael Varane will miss four to five weeks with a hamstring injury suffered during the Champions League game against Atalanta. Fellow denfender Victor Lindelof was missing from the match and faces a fitness test on a knock. United will also be without Paul Pogba who is serving a three-match ban, Fred should return in midfield. Man City centre-back Aymeric Laporte is also suspended and there will be a late fitness check on Kyle Walker after he suffered a foot injury midweek. Winger Ferran Torres (foot) is City’s only other notable absentee.
