Kittle’s Return Won’t Solve All of the 49er’s Problems

49er’s quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo sure has missed George Kittle. In a post-practice interview on Wednesday, he described Kittle as having “fresh legs,” considering it’s his first practice since Week 4. Without him, the offense has had its fair share of struggles and, at 3-4, they need every win they can get in the stacked NFC West. Kittle being back at practice should inspire hope in Bay Area fans, especially with Week 9 on the horizon where the Niners face off against the 7-1 Arizona Cardinals. It is unclear if Kittle will be activated for the game (the 49er’s have until Saturday to do so) considering head coach Kyle Shanahan said they’re “not counting on it 100%.” More on Kittle’s injury and Injury Risk if activated.
