Dak is Limited in Practice; Optimistic for Sunday

There isn’t much more you want out of your quarterback than his willingness to leave it all out on the field, and Cowboys fans have that in Dak Prescott. In their Week 6 overtime win over the Patriots, Dak strained his calf on the game winning touchdown. Immediately afterwards he was seen in a walking boot; not good. But as the Cowboys prepare to take on the Vikings, Cowboys Coach Mike McCarthy has stated Dak will practice in a limited capacity, go through individual drills, and still be a major piece of the game plan. Having seen similar injuries in the past, we have calculated his Injury Risk to be Elevated at 22%, but his Health Performance Factor is Peak as 81%. With that, we have concluded Dak will reach his Optimal Recovery Time by Sunday’s game. The Cowboys currently sit comfortably atop the NFC East, and picking up a win on Sunday over the Vikings would bring them to 6-1 on the season.
