Seahawks’ RB Chris Carson has been out with a Grade 3 neck injury since Week 4. After starting the season with a 91 yard performance against the Colts, Carson maintained a respectable 4.3 YPC before being forced to the IR following the Seahawks’ Week 4 matchup against San Francisco. Neck injuries are inherently serious, and should be treated as such. We have calculated Carson’s Injury Risk to be High (37%), while his Health Performance Factor is Poor (35%). With those metrics, his Optimal Recovery Time is 10 weeks from the time of injury (Week 4).
