CeeDee Lamb Expected to Play Against Denver Despite MidWeek Ankle Sprain

Cowboys second-year wide receiver CeeDee Lamb sprained his ankle in a team practice on Wednesday, forcing him to miss practice on Thursday. On the upside, however, head coach Mike McCarthy did say the injury was “not of high concern.” While he is listed as questionable, Cowboys reporter Rob Phillips added that it was the expectation of everyone in the building that CeeDee would play this Sunday against the Broncos. We have calculated his Optimal Recovery Time to still be two weeks away considering ankle sprains come with High Injury Risks. Lamb is quietly having a very solid year, with 609 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns in just five games. In Lamb’s last three games alone he has tallied 345 yards and 3 of his 4 touchdowns on just 19 catches. If Lamb is good to play Sunday, it will be with Dak Prescott back under center, as the duo host the Broncos, and their ranked 13th pass defense.
